Tradedone — Privacy Policy

We take your privacy seriously. This explains what data we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

1. Who we are

Tradedone is provided by Algu, based in the UK. We are the data controller for the information described below.

2. What we collect

• Account information: your email address and password (encrypted).
• Business profile: business name, owner name, address, phone number, logo, day rate, and VAT details, which you provide to personalise your quotes.
• Quote data: job descriptions, client names, client addresses, and pricing information that you enter to generate and save quotes.
• Basic usage data: via Cloudflare, we collect anonymised traffic data (page visits) to understand how the site is used. We do not use invasive tracking or sell this data.

3. Why we collect it

To provide the service — generating and storing your quotes, applying your branding, and keeping your account secure. We don't use your data for advertising, and we don't sell it to third parties.

4. Who we share it with

• Supabase (our database and authentication provider), which stores your account, profile, and quote data on servers in the EU (Frankfurt).
• Anthropic, whose AI (Claude) processes the job descriptions you enter in order to generate quote content. Anthropic does not use this data to train their models by default under standard API terms.
• Resend, which sends account-related emails (signup confirmation, password resets) on our behalf.
• We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.

5. Client data you enter

When you enter a client's name, address, or job details to generate a quote, you are responsible for having a lawful basis to hold and process that information (typically: it's necessary to carry out a contract or provide a quote for one, which is a normal and permitted basis under UK GDPR for this kind of business record).

6. How long we keep data

We keep your account and quote data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we're required to retain records for legal or tax purposes.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to ask us to export it. Contact us at hello@tradedone.co.uk to exercise these rights.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures (encrypted passwords, secure database access controls) to protect your data, but no system is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Tradedone develops. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice.
